After seeing all the photos of the beautiful women at "Ciao Bella" I decided to make the contact with Jo and book in for a session. I was so nervous, excited and worried about what my photos would look like......
No need to have been concerned, the moment I arrived, I felt at ease, Jess and her trusty brush had me feeling beautiful in a matter of moments.
On to the camera time with Jo...Wow, she just made me feel so special and beautiful. Lots of laughter, ending up being one of the best experiences I have had. I wish I had not waited 60 years to feel I was beautiful.

Family is so precious - grab it with both hands and hold it close for as long as you can.
I have just found out my Uncle Mick has passed away. Mick was my Mum's brother, a Gene Autry devotee (the singing cowboy), a true gentleman and a fabulous fun uncle who at every opportunity would compliment everyone on how beautiful they were. We all loved when Uncle Mick and his guitar was around.
R.I.P. you beautiful soul.

I had been hiding behind the big, fat, ugly old woman title I had given myself. Somehow this felt safe because if someone said I was fat or ugly well it couldn't hurt me because I already knew it but I was immune to hurt!
Ugly, fat old hag were just a few of the many words I used to describe myself, I never had a kind word to speak about myself! Somehow, somewhere along the way I had lost me, when I looked in the mirror this stranger was staring back at me...... who the hell am I, where had Joanne gone?
