Played chicken with this car to get some light trails. Totally won 👑

Honestly though, I was planning on moving at the last second but they started swerving to go around. I suspect they saw me standing in the middle of the road like an idiot and thought, “This poor fella needs all the help he can get.” 🤓

Venus Bay, South Australia. Fun fact that isn’t actually that fun; my tripod mount wasn’t secure and when stacking these I realised each shot dipped slightly lower than the last. Add in the fact that this was 5 images for the sky and 3 images for the foreground and you have the recipe madness. I have made myself even more insane from editing this. Please enjoy. 🥲

Halls Balls, Tasmania

My first ever stint in Tassie. We were originally booked for July, yet we had to cancel due to covid lockdowns, so we went in December when it was marginally worse 🤣 I’ll sum up Tassie as briefly as I can: Beautiful country with the worst roads in existence.

Well, wellitty, well. Look who it is… (It’s me)
As in, me, posting on the gram… Not IN the shot. I mean I’m totally in touch with my feminine side and all, but I don’t throw on a nice frock and prance around in a field of blossoms.
… Not recently anyway.

Brown Hill Creek but ANGERY.

So apparently editing while it’s bucketing down outside unleashes the mood demon. That being said, I think this accurately depicts the mood of the day I shot this. Cold as s**t. A gap in the rain was enough for me to pull over on my way home and send the drone deep into the hills. Such a beautiful place!

Is there an award for being the 50,000th person to hit Brighton Jetty with a top down?

You know when you hit up the bakery and you always end up faced with the age old question, “Do I need a donut as well?” I faced this demon after snapping this drone shot and I lost. So If anyone out there needs this, please heed my words: A pasty or a pie is enough. You don’t need the donut.

Here we have a bunch of cars zooming off into hyperspace. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve ventured out into the hills and tried for the shot I want here and finally I can say, this’ll bloody do. 👋

Hello. I took a brief hiatus but I have returned. Here we have a shot of an abandoned building tucked away in the Adelaide Hills. After gaining the trust of an Eagle lurking above by strangling a brown snake with my bare hands as an offering, he let me strap my camera to his belly so I could get this shot.

Crazy once in a lifetime moment! I was taking Poppy here for a walk and as we passed under a beautiful tree a single leaf floated down and landed PERFECTLY on her head 😍 She just stood there because border collies are known for their calm, non-reactive natures and let me take a photo because for some reason I had my camera ready!

Okay fine, I saw this tree on my way home from work and forced the dog and my missus to accompany back to the tree where we set up a shot in some poor families front yard like a bunch of creeps. Ya happy?!
