Dance translated into physical movement. Mariel wanted to translate the idea of movement in time in a static sculpture. The man and woman creates a tension in expression and at the same time they are fixed by form which expressed the contradiction.

Photogrammetry of sand art sculpture at Romsey before it was pulled down. The lighting isn't great because the photos were taken in dappled light with shadows

Sand Art theme is “The Art of Music” These sculptures were created for an outdoor gallery in Romsey Victoria which has now been dismantled. The sand is being reused for a new theme “Enchanted Forest” These will be created at Dromkeen in Riddells Creek Victoria Australia
