I had a slightly crazy, very messy idea… and thankfully Indi was 100% willing to go along with it. Throw in a few handfuls of colour powder, a forest and a willingness to get VERY messy — and we ended up with these vibrant, colourful shots. ✨

I met this gorgeous mama at the beach just as the sun was coming up, and it was honestly the perfect way to capture such a special season.

Capturing these beautiful moments on the beach was an absolute dream — barefoot adventures, windblown hair, big laughs and the kind of genuine connection that can’t be posed.

With the ocean rolling in and that soft, dreamy evening sky, we let them simply **play, cuddle, run and be themselves** — creating memories that feel just as beautiful as they look. 🌊✨

When my other half tells me how much he *hates* having their photo taken, I see it as a fun challenge! 😄

The secret? Make the session about something they love instead of the camera. By incorporating Dad's passion for blacksmithing, we kept him busy, gave him something to focus on, and before he knew it, he was creating incredible memories with our son instead of worrying about being photographed.

The result was a collection of authentic, meaningful images that captured not only their bond but also a hobby that's a huge part of our lives—all taken right here on our own property. Sometimes the best photos happen when people forget the camera is even there.

Family photos don't have to mean standing still and saying "cheese!" My goal is always to keep sessions fun, relaxed, and full of movement so everyone's personalities shine through.

One activity that's always a hit with the kids is the blanket pull! There's nothing quite like the sound of their laughter as they hold on tight while Mum and Dad pull them along for a ride. Those genuine giggles, excited faces, and joyful moments are often the memories families treasure most—and they make for some pretty amazing photos too!

After all, the best family photos are the ones that capture the fun of simply being together. ❤️

Sometimes the best photos come from embracing a little chaos... or in this case, a *lot* of colourful chaos! 🌈

A huge thank you to Indi for being amazing enough to trust me with this messy Holi powder photoshoot. I don't think either of us realised just how much colour we'd end up wearing by the end of it! 😂

Despite the colourful explosions, the stained clothes, and the powder getting absolutely everywhere, every moment was worth it. The final images are bursting with vibrant colour that surrounds Indi so beautifully, creating something truly special.

I can't wait to share more from this session! 💜✨

As the sun slowly set over Traveston, the sky painted the most breathtaking backdrop for Narita and Jerrald's wedding portraits. 🌅💍
