The tour that shows you all of New Zealand 🇳🇿

Eighteen days. Autumn colour in Wanaka. Wildlife on the Otago Peninsula - penguins, sea lions, fur seals, royal albatross. The alpine scale of Aoraki/Mt Cook. The untouched wilderness of Fiordland, Milford Sound and the remote Doubtful Sound by boat.

Our Ultimate New Zealand Photography Tour is the highest-value trip we run, and it's easy to see why - it's not one location, it's the South Island, taught by Richard Young and Glen Howey from start to finish.

📍 Queenstown → Wanaka → Otago Peninsula → Aoraki/Mt Cook → Fiordland
📅 22 April–10 May 2027
📸 18 days, small group

This tour sells out every year. Don't miss your chance: https://photographyworkshops.co.nz/tour/ultimate-new-zealand-photography-tour/

A major retrospective of iconic Australian photographer Max Dupain has opened at The State Library of New South Wales.

Definitive Dupain brings together almost 200 iconic and lesser-known photographs spanning the six-decade career of one of Australia’s most influential photographers.

Alongside familiar works such as Sunbaker, the free exhibition explores Dupain’s architectural, commercial, fashion, documentary and personal photography, drawing on the Library’s archive of around 250,000 negatives.

🌸 Hydrangeas in a new light

Melbourne photographer Stefanie Wendler-Canning is giving one of the garden’s most familiar flowers a striking new perspective in Hydrangea Transitions, now showing at City of Monash's Oakleigh Library.

The exhibition features 13 illuminated photographic works exploring the hydrangea’s changing life cycle, from vibrant blooms to delicate dried forms. Backlit lightbox prints reveal fine veins, translucent petals and intricate textures that are often overlooked.

Hydrangea Transitions runs until 30 September.
