I recently got to visit THE MOST AMAZING PLACE IN AUSTRALIA! There is something so incredibly special about it. I felt a special connection to it, and was actually teary as I looked up at the stars one last time before I had to leave this special place that is firmly locked in my heart. So I took this picture to help me remember its beauty, and stared at the stars and then closed my eyes, trying to savor the feeling of being there, under the amazing sky.

And to my work wife for travelling the roads before me and persisting that I must go and visit there.

It really was this much fun!

Thank you so very much to all the families who chose me to do their Christmas portrait this year. Although it may seem like a tree and a bench popped on the sand for the day, A LOT of work goes into many things behind the scenes. All of you made that effort so very worth it.

I especially love seeing the families come back again and seeing how much the kids have grown.

And of course there’s just no way it could happen without the hands down BEST Santa in the shire and the BEST Santa’s helper anyone could ever ask for.

Well Christmas Portrait sessions were officially all done and delivered weeks ago, but now I finally have some time to share some of the festive fun we got up to.

This year I loved capturing families being their hilarious, authentic selves, often when I said ‘you’re all done’. From parents negotiating ice-cream and $$ for just one smile, to big siblings cracking each other up. Every laugh, every silly face, every ‘just one more jump’ moment made these sessions a blast.
