Aurora Over the Mallee
It was such an epic night, the aurora last night produced some amazing colours. The first was from 10:30, the others from between 1-2 am.
I love how there colours blend into the milky way.

It has been a while since I got the cameras out, I had a bit of time this morning so I thought I would head out with the camera and the drones. It wasn't the most spectacular morning but it was good to be out there
Lake Tyrrell, Sea Lake Victoria. For those who don't know this is a massive salt lake in the middle of the mallee region just north of Sea Lake. It is an amazing location that can produce some incredible contrast images with white salt and deep blue skies. it is hard to get a bad image.

Just a quick little image from last weekend, the bridge was well lit up for road works that are currently being done, the sky was a little anticlimactic but I love the backlighting through the trees.

This is an Eastern Rosella, he is such a beautifully colourful bird.
They are a very quick bird, and is more active just after sunrise.

I photographed this little fella at around 7am at Broken Creek Bush Camp.
