Recommendations for Seiano, Vico Equense. I stayed here for 4 nights but I spent most of my time visiting other locations so this isn’t a very long list.
Restaurant: - Very friendly staff, I had a ravioli which was delicious, but it was the 1 metre long pizzas that they do which intrigued me. I was dining solo so couldn’t justify it to myself. It’s one they’re particularly known for so I’ll be trying it next time for sure.
Beach Bar: Chichi Beach reasonably priced deck chairs and menu. No tourists, it’s all just locals or Italians on holiday. Did I mention this place looks out to Mount Vesuvius?! Stunning
Lemonade shop on the Main Street, with fresh lemonade and boozy spritzes.
As is normal everywhere you go there’s a hill, so there’s regular buses that go from the port up to the train station and even past my accommodation. Though walking down was always nice.
If I was able to stay longer I would have liked to have checked out a pizza restaurant which looks out over the town. As well as down at the port.
Also my air bnb was a place of baroque dreams, with a gorgeous Juliet balcony running along the entire front of the building a stunning rooftop terrace. Had to pinch myself waking up there on the first day, as the views over to Mt Vesuvius we’re breathtaking and the owners were super lovely and accommodating. I’ll share some pics from my phone too and see if I can link it. Only downside is the beds a little hard for my liking and no air con, so probably best to stay in slightly cooler months. However, aesthetically it was unreal.
