A tough afternoon for Dolls Point FC, going down 4-2 to Sans Souci in the Football St George Premier League Reserves Grand Final at Penshurst Park.

The Battle of the Peninsula is one of Football St George's great rivalries, dating back to the formation of Dolls Point FC following its breakaway from Sans Souci. Once again, the two clubs produced a fiercely contested encounter, with plenty of intensity and passion from the opening whistle.

Despite a spirited effort, Sans Souci proved too strong on the day to claim the championship. While the result wasn't the one the Dolls were chasing, reaching the Grand Final capped another outstanding campaign and is a credit to the players, coaches and everyone involved with the club throughout the season.

Congratulations to Sans Souci on the victory, and congratulations to the Dolls Point FC Premier League Reserves on a season to be proud of.

Champions! 🏆

Dolls Point FC has secured back-to-back Football St George Premier League Grand Final titles after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Minor Premiers Arncliffe Aurora at Penshurst Park.

In front of a passionate crowd estimated at around 3,000 spectators, the competition's two best sides produced a Grand Final worthy of the occasion. Every challenge was fiercely contested as both teams played at a relentless tempo, refusing to give an inch.

Arncliffe thought they had found the net twice, but both goals were ruled out – one for offside and the other for a foul on the goalkeeper. With the match hanging in the balance, the decisive moment arrived in the 76th minute when Dolls converted a free kick from just outside the penalty area, sparking wild celebrations among the blue and light blue faithful.

Going back-to-back is no easy feat, and this latest championship is a testament to the quality, resilience and character of the players, coaches and everyone involved with the club. Congratulations to all on another unforgettable season and a deserved Premier League Grand Final triumph.

The young Dolls produced a dominant performance from the opening whistle, combining disciplined defending with confident attacking football to finish the season in the best possible way. Grand Final Bound! 🧡🏆

Football can be a cruel game... until it isn't.

Lugarno FC are through to the Grand Final after an extraordinary 2-1 Preliminary Final victory over Forest Rangers.

It was a gripping contest from the opening whistle, with both sides creating chances in a tense first half. Lugarno had the golden opportunity to take the lead from the penalty spot, only to see the ball cannon off the crossbar.

Forest Rangers, in dark green, struck early in the second half and defended their slender advantage with everything they had. Both goalkeepers produced outstanding saves as the match ebbed and flowed, while desperate defending at both ends kept the contest alive.

With just three minutes remaining, Lugarno, in their famous orange, finally found the equaliser. Then, just two minutes later, they completed an incredible comeback with the winning goal to spark wild celebrations and book their place in the Grand Final.

A remarkable display of determination, resilience and belief. One more game. One more opportunity. Good luck in the Grand Final, ladies! 🧡🏆

**Winning Run Ends at Seymour Shaw**

**St George City FA 1 – Sutherland Sharks 2**

Our winning run came to an end at **Seymour Shaw** on Saturday night, with Sutherland Sharks claiming a 2-1 victory to secure their place in the **Australian Championship**.

The home side struck twice in the opening half through Yianni Nicolaou (29') and Diego Bonilla (43'), leaving City with a mountain to climb after the break. Paolo Mitry pulled one back in the 82nd minute and City pressed hard for an equaliser, but the Sharks held firm to take all three points.

Another Grand Final awaits for Dolls Point FC after a commanding 7-2 Semi Final victory over long-time rivals All Saints Oatley West at Memorial Playing Fields.

These two clubs have shared the Football St George Over 35s competition honours over the past five years, making this one of the competition's great rivalries. While their encounters are usually decided by the finest of margins, Dolls produced a clinical performance to record a rare blowout victory and book their place in the Grand Final.

Returning to Memorial Playing Fields, the club's home for 25 years, made the occasion even more special as Dolls now enjoys a well-earned break before returning in a couple of weeks to contest the Grand Final.

What a Semi Final!

Dolls Point FC has booked its place in the Grand Final after an epic 4-2 extra-time victory over Arncliffe Aurora at Memorial Playing Fields.

The match exploded into life with Dolls opening the scoring inside the opening two minutes, but Arncliffe responded to take a 2-1 lead. Refusing to give in, Dolls found a crucial equaliser deep into the second half to send the contest into extra time, where they took control with two more goals to seal a memorable victory.

It's another outstanding finals performance from the Minor Premiers, who now earn a well-deserved week off before returning in two weeks' time to contest the Grand Final.
