Recapping the last month.

We’ve hosted music events, built out new podcast setups, repainted the cyclorama, installed a proper paper roll hanging rack and yes, finally added air conditioning.

If you’ve ever booked our Marrickville studio in summer, you’ll know exactly why that last upgrade is a big deal.

What started as a blank warehouse has slowly turned into a fully equipped Sydney photography studio and creative space for events, podcasts, shoots and community nights. Every change you see has been built in house. Shelves drilled. C*c repainted. A/C installed. Just reinvesting back into the space again and again.

So it's been a minute since we've checked in. Hoping everybody had a good holiday break and is ready to smash 2026 because I think we all are ready to leave 2025 behind us. I hope you've all been looking after yourselves and being kind to yourselves.

Here's a bunch of things that have been happening in the studio over the past couple of months. We seem to have a lot of wedding shoots in here where they come between the ceremony and the reception, which is really cool. Lots of events, people have been recording podcasts in here, fashion shoots as always, a few little private parties, and some larger events done by independent music collectives around the city.

Hopefully making a few changes in the studio over the next couple of weeks so look out for those updates. Otherwise wishing everybody all the best and happy creating.
