You know when you're driving around looking for a cafe and the choice becomes obvious because there's a Greyhound there waiting patiently while their attendees replenish themselves? And you have your camera and there's a parking spot? Yeah, well this is 'Kermit The Dog' and he's a stunning 6yo blue brindle and hopefully he and his attendees will be joining the Centennial Park Greyhound Social Club soon.

Rebooting The Snoot! - Gallery Launch Coming Soon!

It would have been Majorā€™s 6th Gotcha today so it seems fitting that I post this today.

Itā€™s been a while and as many of you know, we lost Major to cancer last October and it pretty much took the wind out of our sails for a bit. He was the heart of Greyt Lengths, the original muse if you like, and the reason I started carrying a camera around on our walks in the first place. He made an impact and left quite a legacy and although no longer with us physically heā€™s most certainly still here in spirit. I found I missed the walks and taking photos and socialising and interacting with all of the other designated Greyhound attendees in the Greyhound Cult (which is the best cult Iā€™ve ever been part of btw) and laying down in the wet grass snapping pics and doing OCD colour therapy has been the best medicine.

Whatā€™s changing? - Iā€™m officially bringing Greyt Lengths back to life. To make it sustainable for me to keep traveling to walks and capturing technicolour weirdos, Iā€™m moving to a professional gallery system.

The Walks: - Iā€™ll still be at the group walks doing whatever it is that I do. Same same.

The Photos: - After each walk, Iā€™ll post a handful of pics to the group page and a link to an online gallery.

The Downloads: - You can browse the whole set for free. If you see a shot of your houndy that you can't live without, you can download a high-res or web size watermark-free copy for the price of a coffee/lunch special sort of thing or thereabouts. Or you can just right click and save the oneā€™s I post to the group page as I normally do and Iā€™ll try and include everyone as much as I can.

This helps me cover the petrol, the gear, and the time spent at the computer ā€” allowing me to keep doing what I love for a community I actually enjoy being part of.

Private Sessions: - Iā€™m also open to 1-on-1 "Golden or Blue Hour" sessions for those who want a dedicated gallery of their hound.

We had a group walk today and all the houndies got home made pupcakes. Pics are at the end. I haven't posted much as i've been really busy but will try my best to pick it up again and show off how amazing these crazy units are.

I still always wonder where his brother and sisters are and if they're living their best life and having ribeye steak for dinner tonight. I hope so! Here are his stats if any of their pawrents do a search for them.
