THE PROJECT:
This one-location Psychological Sci-Fi Short Film is a personal and collaborative project that I've been working on for a few months now. The script and location are locked. The location is in Sydney. To be filmed between Nov-Dec. The next step is to build the team.
THE ROLE:
Looking for a Producer to bring this project alive. Some experience with funding and distribution in festivals would be valuable.
Unfortunately, this role is not paid at the moment (unless we can bring some funding). I'm looking to build a team not only for this project but also for future bigger and paid projects.
THE SYNOPSIS:
ANTARCTICA RESEARCH LAB. Two scientists find a new microorganism under the ice. This 6-million-year old bacteria carries an encoded message in its DNA sequence. The two scientists are torn between reality and fiction as the extreme isolation is taking them to the brink of insanity in the most remote place on the planet.
MY EXPERIENCE:
Despite producing and editing videos for over a decade, I never had the chance to direct a fictional film, that's why I consider this my directorial debut.
