Wedding of Heidi & Mitch | Shore School Chapel | Athol Hall
Heidi and Mitch met when they were 16 on a school exchange in Stuttgart, Germany when Heidi was attempting to describe what Milo was to the German class as her favourite Australian food/drink.
Luckily, they only lived 25km away from each other in Sydney and not on the other side of the planet so back in Australia Mitch and Heidi continued to catch up with the group of friends they made on the exchange. A couple of months later Heidi received a 1.5kg tin of Milo in the mail from Mitch while recovering from a recent operation. The first of what would be many in their relationship to come.
8 years later Mitch proposed to Heidi by the water at Palm Beach a few days before Christmas, Heidi’s favourite time of year. After 6 months of preparation and ring shopping the most difficult part for Mitch was getting Heidi out of the house who was busy helping her family with Christmas preparations.
After 18 months of lockdowns and cancelled events, Heidi and Mitch were blessed with a perfect wedding day and were able to celebrate by dancing the night away with their family and friends to an incredible live band.
