Trying to photograph your own kids is always a mix of chaos and laughter. Riley had just discovered the magic of ‘bunny ears’ and thought it was the funniest thing in the world 😂 So amongst the silliness, the wriggles and the giggles, these photos are the ones I’ll treasure most.

Because this is exactly what family life looks like. Imperfect, real and full of laughter.

We gave something new a try in the studio this year, painted black canvas in reverse – and I’m a little bit in love with the outcome.
