6 weeks of you 🤍

More alert
Little smiles
Growing every day
Changing so quickly
Longer wake windows
Tiny stretches and curious eyes

I didn’t realise how much this would mean to me.
Just us, as we are right now.
A little chaotic, a little loud, very full… and now, complete.
These were taken just after we welcomed our newest little love, and everything still feels fresh and a bit blurry in the best way.
Somewhere along the way, photos became something we take and forget. They sit on our phones, lost in the scroll.
But these feel different.
These feel like something we’ll come back to.
Something our kids will hold one day and say “that was us.”
I’m so grateful we stopped long enough to capture this season.
Thank you Sarah for seeing us in it.
Exactly as we are.

Making time for the things we love can be hard. I’ve been wanting to take proper photos of my daughter for so long. Today, she slept, and I finally did it. I’m so grateful I did…she’s changing before my eyes. The list can wait. These moments can’t.

This morning didn’t go to plan.

My baby girl was unsettled, and just like that… the whole morning disappeared into feeding, rocking, and cuddling a crying baby.

I’d forgotten what that feels like.

The way time just… goes.

But here’s the thing — by baby number four, I’ve learnt to stop fighting it.

To sit down.
To lean in.
To just be there.

Today I was grateful Mr 3 was at daycare, because it meant I could slow right down and just hold her without trying to juggle everything else.

I had plans. A list. Things I wanted to get done.

But they can wait.

Because I remember what this season feels like — the newborn haze, the wondering if it gets easier, the long mornings that feel like they stretch forever.

And even though today was hard…
I actually enjoyed it.

The cuddles. The stillness. The pause.

The list will still be there tomorrow.

But she won’t always be this small.

As the school holidays come to a finish, what was your favourite memory?

The slow mornings, the sandy feet, the extra cuddles, the time together you didn’t have to rush.

I always love hearing what families hold onto from these in between weeks 🤍

I have been keeping a secret…

And honestly, this one has flown.

Somewhere between the normal chaos of life, we’re here — getting ready to welcome baby number four. Sooner than I feel ready for. (Is anyone ever ready?)

There’s excitement, a bit of disbelief, and that quiet knowing that everything is about to change again. The house will be louder. eeeekk. The days are fuller. The time is even faster.

We can’t wait. Even if a part of me wishes I could slow it all down just a touch. Here's to the next season.
