There’s something pretty special about watching these two grow up together. 🤍
Sass, our rescue Kelpie, has been part of our lives since Bella was still in my belly. They’ve been friends from the very beginning, but their relationship really blossomed once Bella started solids…
Looking back through the photos, Sass has been there for all the milestones — crawling, walking, running.
In a life where everything is changing, she’s been one of Bella’s constants. Always there. Always by her side. 🐾❤️
So grateful we get to watch this friendship grow.

Listen to the very end, it is the cutest!!

On Kim & Monica’s wedding day, I took them away from their guests for twenty minutes of portraits. Away from the noise, both of them a bit teary, and somewhere in that time they told me something only a handful of people knew at the time. Kim was pregnant. First trimester.
There was a whole reception full of friends and family, who had no idea, and they told me.
That trust is the thing I value so much in this job. I’d rather spend the time to get to know you, build the relationship, than just turn up on the day.

The cherry on top? I was pregnant too. So we had a good laugh about how rough first trimester can be.

Some couples you photograph, and you just know the wedding is going to be a good one.
Paula & Jono wandered Sydney with me for their engagement shoot- the QVB, the old pink terraces of The Rocks, a quiet laneway kiss... There is an ease between these two that you can't pose for. You just wait for it, and it keeps arriving. Just two people who genuinely make each other laugh in a city that knew how to show off for them.
And this is only the warm-up. In September they're getting married at the Sydney Opera House. Counting down to the big day. 🤍

Yesterday morning felt like one of those sessions that could’ve gone either way.
We arrived at the beach with drizzle in the air, skies shifting every minute, and that quiet moment of “do we push this back?”… but instead, we leaned in.
This one felt extra special. They are dear friends of ours, our kids are the same age and we spent countless days by the beach hanging out.
There’s something about photographing people you love that just hits differently.

And somehow, it all just aligned.
Soft light, wind in their hair, little feet in the sand, laughter that felt effortless… the kind of magic you can’t plan, only witness.

These are the sessions that stay with me. The ones that fill your chest when you look back at them.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, the most epic rainbow stretched across the sky to finish it all off.
Proof that sometimes, you just have to trust it and go anyway. ✨

The past few years have looked a little different for me.
Becoming a mum has quietly shifted the way I see everything, including photography.
After many years of weddings, I’m starting to move into something that feels more aligned with this season of life,
photographing families, motherhood, newborns, and brands in a way that feels honest.
I’ll still be capturing weddings, just making more space for the everyday moments that pass a little too quickly.
My approach is staying the same: natural, unposed, and rooted in real moments.
If you’ve been thinking about documenting your family or your work in a more natural way, I’d love to connect 🤍
