I seriously can’t wait to capture more weddings like Jonah and Jess’s! Days filled with good food, first dances under the dusky sky and receptions filled with loved ones. ⠀

Right now I’m also craving weekend trips away! (Like most people I’m sure 😅) My husband Jake and I drove from Capertee to the South Coast for this wedding, following the best week long camping trip with family. So here’s hoping we’ll be able to do all this soon!

Hooray!! It's been a LONG time, but finally the 5 person wedding/elopements are happening again and I am so excited about it! Although there are still restrictions around how they can happen, I am so thankful that many couples can get married now.

Weddings aren't just about the big party or gathering, they're about being married and committing to life together most importantly. This is something my husband and I found out last year during Covid, when we downsized our wedding to a small elopement/intimate day. It was the best and hardest decision we made!

So if you are thinking of eloping under these new restrictions, you can count me in for cheering you guys on, while capturing all the goodness!

I have been a little quiet over here recently, sorry folks! I have been taking it slow, while working with some dear couples through their postponements or shoot cancellations. Its a crazy devastating time, not to mention the emotional rollercoaster of re-planing a wedding!

So to all those who are facing uncertainty right now, a longing to just marry your best friend or just the uncomfortable unknown of what the future holds - its okay to be less excited or sad, or even feel a little bit alone in it all! I am sending a WHOLE lotta love if that is you right now - I know and trust that when your wedding day comes around, its going to be incredibly special and just as awesome as you imagined. Because its you guys marrying one another!! It doesn't get better than that!

And I also wanted to give a huge thanks for my couples in particular, who have battled through this season, being so gracious and kind. I seriously cant wait for these celebrations and witness all your joy - you deserve it!!
