An ethereal engagement shoot last Sunday, making the most of those magical last winter sunsets. 🌅

Ray and Vivian opted to have their couple shoot done before the ceremony, as it’s often the case in winter when the sun sets early. It’s not any less magical and I usually encourage it when appropriate. The upside is that you’re completely free after the ceremony to go straight to mingle with your guests and enjoy canapé hour!

Beaches and parks are popular options for couple shoots but the city is also such an amazing backdrop, with so much variety and storytelling opportunities. Also, winter and rain just add to the cool factor! (Literally and figuratively 😁).

Can’t wait to shoot their wedding in November 😍

A glorious autumn afternoon for Maliha and Ben 🍁☀️
I highly encourage couples to have an autumn/winter wedding. It’s never that cold in Sydney anyway and oh boy do we get gorgeous light and colours! No risk of a scorching hot day either.
Vendors and guests tend to be more available as well, and the whole experience is cosy and relaxed 💖
