(3/3) And It Was All Yellow

This was a tough day for me. My first and second idea failed and Hayley jumped in to help save the day. This project required us to integrate imagery, type and layout and the relationships possible between word and image as a form of communication. I chose the lyrics by Coldplay’s song Yellow.

This project was a makeover of an assignment I completed during my degree. We were tasked with creating a 3-part social media campaign for the topic feminism. I used International Women’s Day as my poster theme, combining both photography and graphics. Due to Covid I was unable to take photos and therefore have used stock images to showcase what I would have created.

Originally known as the Rabbit Hole Studio at Western Sydney University, a group of students along with myself were tasked with the rebrand. We were all assigned various tasks, my task being photography and social media. I was tasked with creating the social media posts for the new Instagram account and the final style guide. I helped with creating the final submission document by collating all the pieces to be submitted to the client.

After using Doterra Essential Oils in my everyday life, I thought this would be a fantastic opportunity to showcase the different oils available.
