I specialize in family, couples, maternity, newborn, cake smash & special events (e.g. For me, the most beautiful photographs are the natural and unexpected ones. It's the one where a father smiles and looks at his family with so much love, where sisters hug their mother, or the little one is in awe of the birthday cake that is about to be smashed.

It's been a year since the Hanekoms' previous family session and a few things have changed. They have welcomed sweet little Lea into the family, oupa and ouma came to visit and Schalk has grown a few inches.

One thing hasn't changed though... He still loves nature and all its creepy crawlies 🐛🕸️🕷️🪱. He was showing dad and oupa all the spiders, bugs and worms he could find.

A dollop of mud, behind the right ear. And a handful of worms in the pocket, I fear.

You see his knees through the holes in his jeans. He likes icecream, but won't eat his beans.
