‘Leather Wallet’ is an emotionally moving, bittersweet Christmas song. It focuses on the reality of celebrating Christmas after the loss of a loved one, and how difficult that can be.

LOVED working on this! 🙌🏼

The next preview coming is the fourth song on the album. It's called "Lay It All At His Feet," and this song is possibly my favourite on the album. We were so determined to get this song right that even though I was really unwell, God nudged us to redo it for the third time from scratch! (Ask my producer/sound engineer Adam from Adamant Star Media 😅) but we did it! This song is so important and so different in its intent than the others.

From day Dot, it has been this heart call from God for everyone who's finding themselves walking this life just *done* to come and find rest.

Life IS hard. We all hit our limit sometimes in that place of just exhausted, battered, and feeling like we're fighting against the tide every step of the way.

Jesus, in this passage, is calling all of us who have been burdened by people and a world out for itself to come to Him and find true rest. His heart is reaching out for each and every one of us, christian or not, to come and lay every hurt, mistake, trouble, and trial at the feet of Jesus because He loves you and He knows just how exhausting it is carrying it all the time.

You don't need to.
Just come.

Since the beginning of lockdown we’ve taken much of our solace by walking around this lake near our house.

Almost the entire time there has been a Mama swan sitting on her nest keeping her eggs warm; always caring, never moving - her own lockdown. As we’ve walked, almost every day for these 5 weeks, we’ve always seen her vigilantly protecting and incubating her little ones.

Today was a really special moment: we finally got to see a litter of brand new life honouring the sacrificial love that seems to be built in to all life on earth.
