Last year I offered Christmas Mini Sessions for the very first time. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect—but they almost sold out, and close to 90% of families chose to upgrade their galleries afterwards. 🥹🤎

So this year, Sydney Christmas Minis are back at my Eastwood studio, with a completely new setting but the same timeless, modern approach.

Think twinkling lights, a beautifully styled Christmas tree and just enough festive magic—while keeping the photographs centred around your family and the little moments between you.

And because Christmas already comes with enough mental load, I want your experience to feel easy from the moment you book. I’ll help with styling, preparing your little ones and wardrobe options for Mum + babies, before gently guiding you through a relaxed family photography session.

With Father’s Day around the corner, I’ve been thinking about how often we photograph our children—but how rarely we intentionally photograph the relationship they have with their dad.

At five months, so much of their little world is still found in your arms. And while they won’t remember these days themselves, one day they’ll have photographs that show them just how loved they were from the very beginning.

A family session doesn’t need a milestone or special occasion. Sometimes this season, exactly as it is, is reason enough.

September is now fully booked, and I’m currently welcoming family sessions from October onwards.

This session quietly confirmed something I’ve wanted to create for a long time. 🤎

A space dedicated to grandparents and grandchildren—to photograph the way they hold hands, the familiar cuddles, the laughter, and simply what it feels like to be together.

Living away from my own grandparents growing up, I have only a handful of photographs with them. I wish I had more—not just of how we looked, but of our relationship and the time we shared.

These photographs from a relaxed sunset family session in Sydney reminded me how worthy that bond is of being documented.

So I’m opening a handful of Grandparent + Extended Family Mini Sessions from now through October only, photographed outdoors or indoors around Sydney.

From waiting for you, to finally holding you. 🤎

There is something incredibly special about photographing a family in those final weeks of anticipation—and then returning a short while later to find their baby finally here, tucked into their arms.

For this family, it was the season they went from two to three.

Their newborn session followed baby’s rhythm. Sleeping soundly, waking for feeds and changes, then settling back into their arms. Nothing rushed or forced. Just their new life together, as it was.

Mother’s Day may have come and gone, but here—in this little corner of the internet and in my small business—we celebrate mothers every day.

Because motherhood is the thread that binds so many of us together.

So say it out loud with me:

I am an amazing mother.
I am a wonderful mother.

If you think about your children before yourself.
If you lie awake at night researching toddler meals, comparing prams, shopping for winter clothes, mentally keeping track of appointments, lunchboxes, daycare forms, and family logistics.

If your “mum uniform” has become activewear and a messy bun because it’s simply the fastest way to get ready before someone calls out “mamaaaaa”.

If you can’t remember the last time you went to the bathroom alone, drank your coffee hot, or sat down without someone climbing on top of you.

If your mind is constantly carrying invisible tabs no one else sees.
If you’ve ever questioned whether you’re doing enough while loving your children with every fibre of your being.

You are a wonderful mother.

Not because you do it perfectly.
But because you show up, over and over again, with love.

And that kind of love changes generations.

To the mothers in the thick of it right now—

The ones holding tiny hands, wiping faces, reheating the same cup of coffee three times, carrying the mental load no one sees, and still showing up every single day with love.

This season may feel ordinary while you’re in it.
But one day, these will be the moments your children remember most.

The way you comforted them.
The way they reached for you without hesitation.
The way home always felt a little more like home because you were there.
