Mum told me he was a little nervous about having his photos taken, but by the end of the session he was telling her how much fun he had. 🤍

And honestly, that is one of my favourite things to hear.

These sessions aren’t just about creating beautiful portraits. They are about capturing who they are at this stage of life their personality, their smile, their confidence and all the little things that make them unique.

Before you know it, they will be grown up, and these photographs become more than just pictures. They become memories of a moment in time that you will never get back.

Behind every small business is a dream, countless hours of hard work, and so much passion. Watching women build something they love and helping them tell that story through photography is one of my favourite parts of what I do.

One of my favourite things about photography is freezing moments that pass by far too quickly.

The first year is filled with so many changes from those tiny newborn cuddles to sitting, smiling, exploring and showing off those little personalities. Before you know it, that first birthday arrives.

Milestone sessions like this aren’t just about celebrating a birthday. They are about preserving a chapter of your family’s story that you will never get back. The chubby cheeks, tiny fingers, cheeky smiles and all those little details that change in the blink of an eye.

I know how hard it can be to organise a large family session.

Finding a date that suits everyone, coordinating outfits, getting grandparents, children and grandchildren all together in one place it’s no small task. But when I look at galleries like this, I’m reminded why it’s always worth it.

These aren’t just photos. They’re memories of generations together.

For the grandparents, these images capture the people they love most in the world all in one place. For the children and grandchildren, they become treasured keepsakes that grow more valuable with every passing year.

When was the last time you had photos taken as a whole family?

I absolutely loved creating these memories for this beautiful family. I have photographed them before, but not since they became a family of five, and seeing how much their little family has grown was so special.

The sand dunes are one of my favourite locations for family sessions because they give kids the freedom to run, play, explore and simply be themselves. The result? Genuine smiles, natural moments, and memories that truly reflect this season of life.

These years go by so quickly. Don’t wait for the “perfect” time to update your family photos the memories you capture today will only become more valuable with time 🤍

This little cutie is 8! 🤍

Year after year, these birthday sessions have become a beautiful tradition, and I absolutely love creating these memories for her and her family. Watching children grow through my lens is one of the greatest privileges of my job.

And if you are ever stuck wondering what to gift your child, niece, nephew, or grandchild when they seem to already have everything, give them memories. Toys get forgotten, clothes get outgrown, but photographs become priceless keepsakes that only grow more valuable with time.
