Spent a couple of days in Canberra at Parliament House, walking the corridors as they say. I’ve always love Canberra’s architecture. Having spent12 years living there, I had lots of time to explore them. Being the national capital with lots of open space, means monumental buildings abound, often in modernist and brutalist styles. They lend themselves to black and white photography. These are photos taken between meetings of Parliament House and the National Art Gallery.

A stroll to yielded a huge bunch of pink, red and white roses from Orange farm. I now have four vases of roses that smell divine. A lovely Sunday ritual.

It’s lovely looking back at the photos I took this week. I take photos pretty much everyday as I go about my day and see something that captures my eye. ❤️🌺❤️

Thank you and farewell 2025. It’s been a great year all in all - lots of highs: two weeks in Greece with dear , a photography workshop the beautiful (with wonderful hosts with the super wonderful , CEO cook-off with OzHarvest cooking with , Pilates retreats with and so much more. Wonderful time with friends and family, celebrating two 100th birthdays! Lots of cooking, photography, creativity in all its forms, a year of highs, lows and the in-between, achievements, the unexpected, conversations, farewells and hellos. Thanks to everyone for following here, wishing you all a wonderful, beautiful and serene 2026. 🌺❤️🌺

Christmas Eve early morning run to the Sydney Fish markets. An historic day given its the last 24 hour Christmas fish market before the new one opens in January. The atmosphere was fun, lots of happy people and lots of well…seafood. Happy Christmas Eve. ❤️🎄❤️

On Wednesday night, I took part in the OzHarvest CEO Cook-off. Thanks to all those who supported me. It was a lot of fun (with a guest appearance from Jimmy Barnes) and together we raised over $4,000, enabling 8,000 meals for those doing it tough. Oz Harvest raised enough to provide 3,000,000 meals - an incredible outcome from everyone's generous giving and commitment.

I've been working with OzHarvest for the past three years and now first hand the difference they make. They rescue good food and deliver it to those who need it most.
