Last year, we spent an incredible few days on beautiful Bundjalung country, hosting the 2nd edition of the Regional & Remote Music Summit.

The summit continues to be such an integral moment for our industry, as it invites artists, industry professionals, community leaders and policymakers into the same room to engage in a nationwide dialogue on the future of music in regional communities.

We’re so excited to be back in action next month, handing the baton over to our friends Music SA, as they bring the Regional & Remote Music Summit to Mount Gambier on 28 - 30 October.

πŸ—Ί Introducing Lost Pavements – a musical voyage that traverses the bitumen between Sydney and three orbiting cities: Newcastle, Western Sydney and Wollongong - tracing touring routes that are often overlooked.

At its heart, Lost Pavements is about uncovering lost pathways: strengthening the connections between neighbouring music communities and giving artists practical experience of what it means to take their music beyond their own city.

Kicking off in Sydney on Thursday, 5 November, selected artists from each region will then play shows in Newcastle, Western Sydney and Wollongong over the next three days.

If you're an emerging artist/band from Sydney, Newcastle, Western Sydney or Wollongong, are 18 years or older, are wanting to hit the road with neighbouring bands and are free entirely from 5 - 8 November 2026, we want to hear from you!
