🎄 Christmas Minis are almost here…

The first release of Christmas Mini Sessions will go live on Monday 27th July at 8pm.

A little heads up—there will be fewer sessions available this year.

Last year was incredible, but if I’m honest, it also left me completely exhausted photographing nearly 150 families (and a bout of pneumonia as well). This year I’m choosing to do things a little differently so I can give every family the same energy, creativity and care that I want every session to have.

You’ll also notice that my prices have increased. I’ve tried to keep my minis as affordable as possible, but the truth is they’re so much more than a “quick photo.” Each family is photographed in 3 different set ups which are carefully styled and created by me over a few days. I also deliver far more than just a handful of images. Behind every 15-minute session are hours of preparation, editing and the experience I’ve spent years building.

If you’ve been thinking about booking, I’d encourage you to jump on when they launch. They have booked out every year and with fewer sessions available, I expect they’ll fill quickly.

I’m back after having some time off.
This past week has been full in all the best ways—helping one of my kids move, soaking up some beach time, and camping in the hills with great friends. Sleeping in swags in 0°C was surprisingly warm, and it made for the kind of memories you don’t forget.

Now it’s back to creating, and I’ve got some exciting things coming up and I can’t wait to get stuck in.

Before I disappeared for the week, I had the privilege of photographing FOW in Wagga. If you haven’t seen it yet, tomorrow night is your last chance before it closes. Go and experience it—you won’t regret it I promise.

A back to the farm experience by many and I overheard one participant say it’s the best cup of tea he’d had for 20 years.

One of my favourite parts of travelling for work is the landscape along the way.

Sometimes I’ll pull over on the side of the road and walk back to a spot that catches my eye. Sometimes it’s before a shoot if I arrive early, and sometimes it’s after, when the sunset just keeps getting better and I can’t resist staying a little longer.

These images aren’t for a client or a brief. They’re simply photographs I take for myself — moments that stop me in my tracks and remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

No expectations. No pressure. Just the joy of seeing something beautiful and capturing it.
