Happy Birthday to my amazing wife Britt 💞 In the early days of Jonathan David Photography, Britt was my biggest advocate and supporter and sacrificed a lot to help me build my business. She would join in at all my client meetings and would even second shoot weddings with me. Well, over the last twelve months Britt has been busy working on achieving one of her biggest life ambitions and recently opened her own dental practice (give her page a follow here —> ) and all while making the whole motherhood thing look effortless by raising two gorgeous boys (👦🏻+🐶..and a husband). We are so proud of you Britt 🥰 Thank you for everything you do for us and thank you for all the sacrifices you’ve made to care and look after us. Noah, Gus and I love you so very much xx

I’m back!! If you’ve been wondering where I’ve disappeared to recently - right here is your answer. Almost eight months ago this little guy, Noah Hunter, turned our world completely upside down. We’ve discovered a love that we didn’t know existed and haven’t been able to take our eyes off him ❤️ I’m still shooting amazing weddings for awesome couples and have shared in some incredible celebrations over the last twelve months - but it means I’m spending much less time on social media and preferring to soak up every minute of downtime I have with my little man. Plus, many of you may remember my beautiful and inspiring wife Britt - in the early days of my business Britt was the driving force behind my business’s growth and some of you might have even had her second shoot your wedding with me many years ago - well, in addition to her absolutely nailing the whole motherhood thing, we’ve been working hard the past few months to turn one of her biggest life dreams into a reality (more on that another time). So it’s safe to say our days and nights aren’t quite exactly what they used to be, but we wouldn’t change any of it for the world 🥰

I have to admit, I got a real kick out of putting together my "Best of 2018" post last week.... but it was also devastating to realise that the last full wedding I blogged, was a wedding I shot in 2015. Let that sink in for a minute. I've photographed 100+ AMAZING weddings since 2015 and.. well... there's no one but myself to blame for not letting these weddings be shared with the world. So I'm determined to change that this year, and I'm going to start by sharing Sam & Todd's gorgeous Mali Brae Farm wedding from 2017. I'd love for you to check it out!

Happy New Year, friends! It's been another incredible twelve months, and there really isn't more to say than thank you to the amazing couples who made it all possible. I have loved every minute of it. In 2019, Jonathan David Photography officially celebrates 10 years of business. It is completely overwhelming and utterly humbling to realise that for a decade, couples and individuals alike have opened their hearts and welcomed me into their lives to photograph their most celebrated moments. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. With that, I really hope you enjoy this "Best of 2018"....

Here are my top 9 for 2018 - and what an incredible year it has been! 🎉 Thank you to the amazing couples who have had me there to document all the love and laughs. I’m truly humbled. 2019 is shaping up to be just as awesome.... AND to get 2019 off to a good start I’ll be posting some of my favourite photos from 2018 on the blog tomorrow (it’s been 18 months since I last posted anything - soz! - so I’m bloody excited!). Who would have thought that three years after photographing Tash & Dimi's Skiathos Greek island destination wedding I would be back in Greece to witness and document another magical love story - Tash's sister, Andria and her beau Theo.

There's something magical about Santorini and the Aegean Sea that surrounds it. Maybe it's the ocean air, or perhaps it's the stunning sunsets that hundreds flock to watch every evening. Either way, there is something special here, and according to Theo's speech at the end of the night "It's Gold!"
