Felt this one deserved a permanent spot here too because it’s not always the wide hero shots that I love the most but the considered corners or transitional spaces that just make sense. I loved standing and looking from this perspective - the seamless transition of indoor and outdoor tied together beautifully by sophisticated styling, the herringbone floors and that lovely arch that frames the pool area perfectly 🤍

The last shoot of this year was giving real holiday vibes! I just love this shoot for so much and I’m trying to put a finger on why I love these shots so much. I think when reflecting back on a big year, what it comes down to for me is the people.

I’m so grateful I get to work with really great people. It’s a privilege being invited into your homes and workplaces. I get the joy of meeting your families and staff - often multiple times. I get to capture the “ins-and-outs” of the brands you pour your heart and soul into everyday.

It’s not just the beautiful product or service you provide that I take pride in capturing but it’s the story behind it all - where it started, where it’s going, the why of it all and the special people who make the business happen. Doing it all in relationship with you is so satisfying and I love watching good things grow.

Thank you for allowing me in on the journey, to tell little pieces of it along the way - it’s pure gold to me and I can’t wait to keep doing it next year.

Enjoy this beautiful project, adorned by the lovely faces behind the family that runs . For these guys their business is all about making lifetime memories, and the sparkle in these kids eyes says they’re doing a pretty great job of that!

In the flurry of the end of year rush I completely forgot to post this shoot!

It was so lovely capturing this build for - sophisticated, calm, elegant spaces from every angle. I feel in love with the dark timber/marble combination in this beautiful galley way kitchen.

Fun fact - this shoot day was double the fun, capturing the outdoors of this residence for our talented client (see previous post) and then moving indoors to shoot for . So many trades are involved in a build and it’s fun to put my creative eye towards capturing a project from different points of view - a builder, architect, interior designer, landscape architect will each require a slightly different perspective/composition of photo in order to capture the very best frame of their unique offering.

Kitchen/Dining captured for

Loved styling + photographing that arched shelving with Renee from - in their very own home which has just sold. Bittersweet for them but photos to treasure and remember all the memories made there. It’s always a privilege to be invited into a home as trusted to capture it. I love the conversations that eb and flow as the shoot day progresses, all whilst capturing the beautiful spaces that I know are places where people live and love big!
