Throughout his career Matt has amassed an avid international following thanks to his unique photographic translation of the world around us. As a self taught, award winning artist inspired by all aspects of photography, Matt has continued to learn and evolve with his work over the past two decades. With this being said, nothing is off limits. Matt has created an extensive collection of images fro

m all corners of the globe. He finds inspiration in all aspects of the world of photography and is always challenging himself. From capturing the awe-inspiring architecture of Paris, Sydney and New York, coming face to face with lions and other African wildlife, abseiling into canyons and gorges, climbing mountains and crossing rivers just to get the perfect shot! Matt loves to explore the elements of underwater photography and all of his aerial images are shot from a helicopter, not a drone, to ensure maximum fine art image quality, as well as create a greater connection to his subject. Matt and his manufacturing partners are committed to exhaustively researching and utilising the finest quality printing and framing products to ensure each artwork will last a lifetime. A carefully curated collection of Matt’s artworks can be viewed at his state of the art gallery located in the heart of The Rocks, Sydney, Australia.

Astrophotography is a genre I’ve only recently begun exploring, and this image marks the first piece I’ve ever released.
During a recent trip through the Kimberley, I found myself inspired by the incredible night skies and decided it was the perfect opportunity to try capturing the Milky Way. I chose a location a few hours north of Broome at James Price Point, drawn to its striking red cliffs and earthy tones meeting the ocean. My vision was to create a sense of warmth beneath the vast expanse of the night sky.
As the sun disappeared below the horizon, a beautiful afterglow lingered for more than an hour. Even once darkness had fully settled and the sky was filled with stars, a subtle warmth remained along the horizon. Combined with the rugged coastline and the brilliance of the Milky Way overhead, it created the perfect conditions for this image.
