Its been ages since I've posted anything but I'm getting back into it :)

Well I'm home LMDSS at Heathcote and what can I say, wow.
The night started out with me booting up the computer and then it died :( Lucky Dave have a spare laptop I was able to use, but we couldn't get it to connect to mount with the software, so had to polar align it the old fashioned way with the polar scope and star alignment with the hand controller. Then went to start up PHD guiding and my GPUSB died :( But as luck would have it Dave at a spare one of those too. So was finally up and running by about 11pm shooting subs of M45-Pleiades. Then after the telescope had to flip and restart PHD guiding the laptop crashed to the blue screen of death, oh FFS! A quick reboot and was back up and running. OMG can anything else go wrong! Well yes it can, I get home unpack the DSLR which I was shooting a timelapse on and the memory card is empty! OMFG!!!!
I managed to get about 4 hours of data on M45-Pleiades.
David Rolfe thankyou for all your help last night you were a lifesaver!
