WE MOVED!

Over the past couple of months we’ve packed up, said goodbye to our farm near Goondiwindi and moved to our new place near Pittsworth.

It’s been a busy few months (and I’m fairly sure I’ll still be finding boxes I forgot to unpack next year), but we’re finally starting to feel settled.

One thing I knew I wanted to do once life calmed down was give my family photography packages a bit of a refresh.

The sessions themselves haven’t changed, they’re still relaxed, natural and all about real moments, but I’ve simplified the collections, updated the pricing and given them names that better suit what they are.

So… meet Held, Together, Gathered and Bloom.

While my address has changed, my heart for photographing Goondiwindi families certainly hasn’t.

I’ll still be making regular trips back to Goondiwindi and surrounding areas, with a simple flat travel fee, as well as now photographing families throughout the Darling Downs.

To everyone who’s supported my business over the years, thank you. Whether I’ve photographed your family once or you’ve been coming back to me every year, I’m so grateful you’ve trusted me to capture your memories.

I’m really looking forward to this next chapter and seeing where it takes us.

Why has it never occurred to me to photograph my own work?

Turns out I’ve had the best studio sitting right outside my back door this whole time.

Cotton fields, good light, and a bit of patience…not a bad setup really.

little evolution over here.

Over the past few years, what began as photography has slowly grown into something more, into creating fine art photographic prints, working with cyanotype, and exploring traditional processes that result in physical works made to be held, not just viewed.

To give that side of my work the space it deserves, I’ll now be sharing my fine art and printmaking under my own name:

This is where I’ll be sharing my cyanotype works, fine art photographic prints, and future collections as they evolve, with a website to follow soon.

The Farmer’s Friend Photography isn’t going anywhere. It will remain the home of my rural, commercial and client work, and a big part of my life on the farm.

Nothing is really changing, just making a little more room for the direction my work is naturally heading in.

If you’ve supported my work in any way whether that’s a photo session, a print on your wall, or simply following along - thank you. It truly means more than you know.
