"Thief in the Night"
A little while ago I had the urge to shoot some stars, which is not unusual for me. A quick phone call to my lightmaster Kurt and we were in the car and out of the city lights and into the beautiful clear skies.
We decided to use the cracks in this old barn to make some leading lines with Kurt's ridiculously powerful torch.
We tried a few different options and decided this was the one to go with.

Hi all,
There were some wild storms around today!
I decided to duck up the road to try and get a bit of an open view of the one that hit Toowoomba at around lunchtime.
I have to say I wasn't disappointed. It was a very eerie sight seeing the green making it's way through the cloud as it got closer. I knew we were in for some hail. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get what I wanted in one frame, so I decided to do a 22 shot panorama to really show this beast in all it's glory.
My apologies for the image quality, the file is massive,
so I had to sacrifice some quality to upload it.
Best viewed in FULL SCREEN for sure!

As always feel free to share this with your friends and don't forget to like the page, I appreciate it.
Have a great week ahead everyone 😀
Cheers

Whenever I go on photography adventures I always have a goal in mind. However, most of the time I'll pull over and take random images along the way.
As I was driving to my location I couldn't help but pull over and get a shot of the fields, which during the day, are just plain green. But just before the sun sets they come alive with beautiful colour and light even if only for a brief moment.
As always feel free to share with your friends and have a wonderful week ahead. Hopefully we get some nice rain!
Cheers,
Simon

Hi all. Apologies for the time inbetween posts. I've recently had shoulder surgery and have been recovering from that. I'm hoping to get out more frequently in the near future.
I decided to head out to wivenhoe yesterday to see if I could get cool storm photos. Unfortunately the storm there didn't look as menacing as it did in other places, so I decided to just wait for sunset and see what it had to offer. It turned out to be quite beautiful, but the wind was absolutely howling and was making it very challenging to keep the lens dry. I managed to get this before it got dark and started raining.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend! As always feel free to share with your friends.

Cheers

"Dividing Light"

Hi all, hopefully you all made it through Monday without any hiccups 😀
My very good friend Dan and I decided to do a mini road trip to Macintyre Falls for some photos and fishing. We knew the falls would be going hard, but had no idea they would be absolutely roaring. While it was great to see some water down there, it was not ideal for photography.
Regardless I decided to shift my focus off the falls and take advantage of the beautiful morning fog that was shifting through the valley. It didn't dissapoint.
As always feel free to share with family and friends and remember to hit like so you can see future posts.
Cheers all, have a great week ahead.

"Snow makes everything better"

10+ hours of driving, worth it. The freezing cold temperatures, worth it. I have only seen snow once before and it was only a very light covering. This time the conditions were much better. I just love how the snow changes the whole look of the landscape. I wasn't anticipating any colour at sunrise, but the sun poked it's head out for mere minutes to give the sky some lovely colour.
A special thanks to my good friend John for providing the vehicle, the laughs and the great company. Also thanks to Higgins Storm Chasing for the updates making the trip a lot easier to plan, cheers guys.

Taken just outside of Guyra, New South Wales.
As always feel free to share with family and friends and have a wonderful week ahead.
Cheers

I wish this wreck was still there. But, I believe, due to safety reasons it was removed some time ago.
At the time I knew it had been photographed to death but I had to get my own take. I spent 2 weeks, whilst on holidays, going there every morning until I got the shot I wanted.
This particular morning the conditions were perfect and I walked away quite happy.
I'd love to see some other takes on this wreck. If you have one post it in the comments!

"Pink Flamingo"

I asked Shauni what she thought I should name this image, she came up with said title 🤣
I was a little disappointed I couldn't get out for yesterday's sunset, so I was determined to head out this morning and try my luck with the sunrise.
It ended up being a nice colourful one so I'm glad I went out.

As always feel free to share with family and friends.
Cheers
