17 hours. The first home birth I’ve photographed. And an experience I don’t think I’ll ever forget. 🤎

What an absolute privilege it was to witness this woman ride every single wave… the highs, the lows, the moments of doubt and the moments of pure, unbelievable strength. She was a freaking powerhouse.

And the love beside her… something I’ll never forget either. The quiet whispers of “I’m so proud of you”, “you’ve got this”, “you’re so strong” and the way he could bring her back to earth when everything felt like too much. It was such a beautiful reminder that birth isn’t only powerful in the loud moments.

And then, after it all… watching her bring her baby earthside, right there in their home. 🥹

Raw. Intimate. Empowering. Completely incredible.

What a privilege it is to be trusted with stories like these. 🤎

Just your little reminder that now, more than ever, your small business friends need you.

Running a small business in Australia is hard right now. Costs are rising, there’s more and more to stay on top of, and for so many small businesses, things just feel… heavy.

And I think sometimes we forget that supporting a small business doesn’t always mean spending money.

Leave a comment.
Share their work to your story.
Recommend them when someone asks.
Leave them a review.
Tag them in a local Facebook group.
Tell your friends about them.

And when you do need the service they offer… book with them. 🤎

Those tiny little things that take you 10 seconds can genuinely make such a difference. They help our work reach new people, they put our names in rooms we aren’t in, and sometimes they’re the reason somebody chooses to book.

Behind so many small businesses is just a person (or a family) trying really bloody hard to make something they love work.

So if there’s a photographer you love, a hairdresser, a café, a florist, a cleaner, a tradie, a little boutique, a baker, a beauty business… be loud about them.
