There’s something special about getting the whole family together. The awkward laughter, the chaos of kids, and all small + subtle moments in between shown between grandparents + grand-babies, cousins and even mum + dads

Extended Family Session are filled with little hugs, cheeky smiles, and the kind of love that only comes from generations growing side by side.

I am always so grateful to capture memories that will only grow more meaningful with time

There has been lots of chat up in my DMs for the last few months, and I have finally whipped my butt into gear and announcing it to the world!

Introducing ✨ MILESTONE MINIS! ✨

Wanting a quick but professional way to document your sweetest little humans on their milestones such as 6 months old, or each birthday?
Insert a “milestone mini”, something you book in each year for your kids around their birthday to document them as they are at each stage! A quick 20 minute session in The Darling Studio to capture just them by themselves

This is something I try to do every year with my own kids after seeing another photographer mention it, and I think it is a fabulous idea!
Our little kidlets change each year - their hair gets longer, their teeth come in or fall out, they love spiderman or obsess over the colour pink… document them as they are at that moment!

I know i have said it before but I’ll say it again - be prepared for your newborn session to be more of a sibling session, and some newborn time and photos thrown in there!

I want them to feel calm + comfortable, and their cheeky selves, so naturally they will run the session

As I gain some new followers, I thought it was about time I reintroduced myself!

HI, I’M AMY

I find being on this side of the camera very uncomfortable, but trying to push through discomfort just like I encourage my clients to do!

I have always been the designated photo taker; the one who cared about capturing the moment; the young gal at the pub with a camera swinging from her arm

Documenting people whether families, lovers, small businesses.. I feel so damn grateful that pretty much every session I have, it feel like my clients are long time friends - conversation just flows, being goofy to make the kids laugh, and the whole vibes just warm my heart!

At times I am not an overly emotional person (just ask my sister haha). But when it comes to my kids, my heart explodes.. as it does when I look at your images, because I can relate on exactly how you all feel in that moment!

Random fun facts about me:
1. I have 3 kids - Dusty Vance, Scottie Flo + Romy Rose
2. My hubby and I met in the Saloon Beer Garden
3. One food I don’t like that I wished I did is eggs
4. I love reality real estate shows
5. Have ages 13-17 years old, most of the photos in my camera were of sunsets
6. I was Photography Captain at High School
7. I feel + read vibes easily
8. My 3 bridesmaids are still my 3 closes friends 7 years later
9. I try hard to be a Type A but I have A LOT of underlying ADHD symptoms - sorry Type A hubby
10. Mila my Hungarian Vizsla is my other little love
11. I like music in general but occasionally I hear a random song and it hits me like a tonne of bricks and chokes me up
12. Photographer who is married to a bloke who loathes having his picture taken
