This photo of Amelie smiling up at Hayden with so much love and joy absolutely stopped me in my tracks as soon as I took it; then again when I was culling the gallery, again when I edited it, and now every time I flick through my camera roll.

One of the biggest things I've learned in this job is that you can set up a shot, and give all the prompts in the world, but the best and most emotional images are captured when you shut up, take a step back, and let your subjects just be. Nothing can manufacture this look of love in Amelie's eyes, and that's what makes this so special.

I can't believe I've never posted this to my feed, but here's a throwback to Sarah & Shaun's elopement in April at . These two were high school sweethearts, and it was so special to capture them becoming husband and wife infront of their close family and gorgeous little girl.
