Let's start at Perth. Actually, Perth is a great place and my bonus was seeing my friend Roscoe there. He picked me up and we did the tour, not just the tourist driving tour, no we also had plenty laughs talking about our time in FJ. The strange thing is, and this is not the first time this happen, we go straight into the Fiji slang. This was truly nice.

I did this before and here it is again, the official dateline in Taveuni Fiji island. I know Tonga moved the dateline but that is only done for trading purposes. Here it is, this happens every day in Taveuni, guess people think about this anymore, but how lucky are we all, the day starts here. I'm standing on the dateline and it is in the daytime, big deal, but then I got up very early in the morning, set up my camera and I wait. And WOW there is it, the beginning of a new day. Everything in the past is forgotten, your whole energy is going through this lens capturing the moment. This makes your whole day, but it still makes my day. How privileged I am to be allowed to witness this. To all of you out there, have a great new year and please get involved for peace. It is so much easier to smile and so much harder to be angry.

Christmas again, it is all going too fast. Almost every year I come up with a pretty good image for that special day, but this time, It had to be quick. I have just been moving house, boxes are everywhere, and no these are no presents. Still, I needed to do something quick. SO PJ, Quickly find the box with all the lights, throw them on the table, go and get some candles, and go for it. Here it comes, I'm always one who wants to save the world and too often I get carried away with my comments. I just can't see people in pain, knowing wrong is wrong. So, here I placed the world globe behind my candles, maybe we can save the world. Yes, the image could have been so much better but it is the thought behind it all that counts. Merry Christmas to all my friends and all the people who almost know me, really in my heart, I love you all most of the time, no I'm kidding YES I DO, have a great time celebrating in whatever you feel comfortable with.

Exiting, now this is exciting. Today it's all a bit different, it's all stripped in. But here, my assistant Amena and I in a helicopter, the pilot Robby, one of Ian Simpson's best. We get in position and we communicate with the 747 pilots. We have one hour and the aircraft did 4 rounds. Robby the helicopter pilot had to keep an eye on not coming too close to the 747, not to get sucked in. I wasn't worried about all this, I'm sitting strapped up half outside, yes no doors, as you can see, the 747 is flying very low, I mean very low. We did it, what a life, how many can say this? There must be only a handful of photographers in the world who does this. Proud, bet your backside I am. There are many people involved in setting up a project like this. Fantasha Air Pacific, Teresa and Graham from Wilson Addison, the people in the tower, the fire brigade at the airport, and all pilots. Keep in mind, we flying low, this low that all warning lights have been bussing. This time I couldn't say, oops I forgot to take the shot. Enjoy and comment if you like.

Today I thought, how about showing images of outstanding jobs. But then, they were all outstanding or enjoyable jobs. I need to start somewhere. Having my Images on the side of an aircraft, now this is pretty special. I remember so well, waiting on the viewing platform at Sydney Airport, seeing my machine flying in. One proud moment. And I forgot to take the shot. It is not like you have a second go.

This guy is standing right on the edge, blowing his didgeridoo. He is telling people he can control the waves for the PRO surfers who are just about to start their world pro-tour. Here you see most champion male and female surfers from around the globe. And it all starts here, Coolangatta. POINT DANGER !
