It might be time to introduce myself… This is me, a few years ago. A picture taken by a friend on my camera without me realising, only to find it when I developed the film myself by hand. We were sitting in a fish and chip shop waiting for burgers.

A bit has changed since that day, but my passion and love for film photography and the whole process will never waiver. 2 kids, a move interstate, a new career and a change in eating habits, yet I’m always drawn back to the power of the camera and the mystery and magic of film. I just love it!

This is one of my favourite photographs. I think it’s because of the mystery and curiosity I feel by seeing the reflection but not knowing what is under the water. It also reminds me of a drawing by an artist I greatly admire, “Three Worlds” by M.C. Escher.
I hope it draws you in just like it does me.
