Its amazing the things you find out about the South Coast. I live in St Georges Basin and wondered why there was a memorial near the jetty. Then a friend sent me this Podcast about the area.

Thinking about the setting up of the multi shoot cameras so they are suitable for multi camera editing in Resolve, I now realise the importance of metadata on each clip. "If you give the add the angle Metadata to all the clips, then select them all in the media pool and create a multicam clip, in the multicam popup choose to use angle Metadata to organize the clips. It will automatically add all clips with angle 1 to track 1, all clips with angle 2 to track 2 etc.

You don't need to manually sort them, other then adding the correct angle Metadata to begin with.

Hi All,
Its time to get back to work and do a refresher session on Resolve. Personally, I haven't edited for a number of months and being of the older generation, I have trouble with "how to do ????" in Resolve.
To help myself, I have being looking at the first two modules in the Resolve Website training online about 1 1/2 hours total -
These deal with projects, timelines, sound and titles for starters. Have a go before getting back to your next project - a short 3 min movie as requested by Bob.

The film Challenge has been set for this year . I had to quickly do a A/V for a local Mollymook Artist and I thought I would use Lightroom as all the images were edited and reside there. However this became more of a challenge as I had not used this process before. So as time went along I realised , I had met someone who has an interesting hobby and could be an interview may be made to include the A/V. Always a challenge!!!!!!

I follow this writer and he gave me an idea for a short movie. The term of "Moments of Solitude " as interpreted by Thomas Stirr in his photographs could surely be used as a basis for a videographer.
