I'd like to reintroduce myself.

Hello, I'm Zoe.

Photography has been a lifelong passion of mine. Growing up, my father's love for photography inspired me, and we spent countless hours converting our laundry into a darkroom, developing film, and printing photographs. Following formal training and guidance from accomplished photographers, I established Zoe Vaughan Photography.

After 18 years in business, I'm still passionate about my work, particularly capturing love and cherished moments – engagements, weddings, families, and babies. I take great joy in celebrating milestones and the beauty of everyday life. My most treasured memories as a photographer are the moments I've captured for my clients. Whether it's a first look, a first dance, or simply a family moment, these are the memories that matter most.

Having relocated to the Shoalhaven area from Goulburn in 2023, I've continued to work with clients from both areas. If you know me, you know I am a sucker for weddings. I love everything about them. The details, the love, the looks, the moments, the story… everything. This one was extra special.

I’ve known Shellie for a very long time and when she said she wanted me to capture her big day it was an easy decision to lock in the date and make it happen.

Yesterday I got to see two amazing humans that are totally smitten with each other, start their life as husband and wife. Two families becoming one in the most beautiful ceremony, full of love and laughter.

Brent and Shellie thank you for allowing me to spend your wedding day with you and I wish you both all the happiness in the world. 💕

I was asked by a future bride why I am the photographer for them? This is a great question.

If you would like someone who quietly captures the natural moments of your day, stepping in when guidance or support is needed then I am the photographer for you. I will guide you to those tender moments when you are too self conscious to know what to do. I will laugh with you, but mostly at myself to put you at ease, I will probably cry at the tender heart felt moments in your wedding (I won’t apologise for being a softie and feeling those beautiful moments from your wedding) I use these joyful, beautiful, kind, sensitive moments to fill your photos with emotions. Foster and capture beautiful memories for you to treasure in your images.

If you want a comedian, show pony or someone who is loud and in your face. That’s not me. At all. Can I make 300 guests do what I want for a group photo, hell yes! But it ends there. That is as bossy as I get and pretty much the only time during your wedding that I will be loud and bossy! 😊

My beautiful friend Sara @ Sara Fife Photography has been opening her studio to take donations for bush fire relief. She is taking all the amazing donations to Belconnen Community Service tomorrow for distribution to those communities effected. It is amazing seeing our beautiful community come together to support our fellow Australians in this time of need. I am heartbroken for all those effected and my thoughts are with them 💕 Sara you have a big beautiful heart. Thank you for taking my family’s little donation to Canberra for us 💕
