I entered the Junee Bulletin canola competition and it’s been narrowed down to 5 images for People’s Choice. I somehow have two of the five images in the running!

My little photographer buddy 📸

I’m so thrilled to finally have someone to wander around with, camera in hand, seeing the world through their own little creative eyes.

And somehow, in the same breath, he’s off on his very first school camp today and I’m absolutely not okay.

My boy is growing up far too quickly, but gosh it’s beautiful watching him become his own person. 💜

The way they still see the magic around them, teddy in hand, boots in the dirt, curls doing their own thing. Somewhere between tiny and growing up, with a whole story still waiting ahead of them.

These are always my favourite kinds of photos, the little in-between moments. Those fleeting seconds when all the siblings are actually getting along 😂

Not one of them was looking at me or even bothered by my presence. No fake smiles, no perfectly placed poses, just kids being kids, with absolutely no concern for their mini-session time limit, completely caught up in their own little world.

They might not be “portrait perfect,” but these are the moments I love capturing🌼

Of course, the sheep didn’t quite get the memo, so Dad was sent in with the drone to herd the “baa baa’s, as Billie knows them, into the background. 😂

And honestly… worth it.

One whole lap around the sun for this little farm girl, celebrated exactly where she belongs, with fistfuls of cake and her hanging out behind her.

And that’s a wrap on my 2026 canola season 🌼💛

Four years of getting to live out my magical, whimsical dreams in these golden fields, while capturing so many beautiful people making memories and feeling a little bit of that magic for themselves.

A huge thank you to the Kohlhagens for welcoming me back once again and trusting me with their beautiful piece of paradise. I appreciate it more than I could ever say.

And thank you to Toby for being my backup this weekend and taking on the very important role of Bubble Wand Master 🫧 I hope you managed to learn something amongst all the chaos, laughter and afternoon antics!

What a beautiful season it’s been 🌼✨
