Back from a long hiatus. Despite having a well stocked back catalogue of images, some Lightroom installation dramas coupled with the limited movements of lockdown I've been very quiet on here. Time to change that!

Got into the hills to chase some fish last week. Water didn't provide any, but got a few nice captures. I'll be feeding some out over the next few days, will be nice to get back on top of it!

It's been a relaxing disconnect from the hustle and bustle of work travel during lockdown. Rendering from home with a beer in hand is a good gig. Getting better at this!!

This is our gorgeous Smart Pixel Dot. Waterproof, tiny with massive light output in strings of 50 with the capacity to daisy chain them together. Rendering is great but I want the real thing.

My new lens arrived today. Since upgrading to the A7R mk4 and it's monsterous 61 megapixels, I've really been struggling for sharpness in my midrange focal lengths. That ends today with a gorgeous lens I've had my eye on for a while. The Zeiss Batis Distagon 25mm F2. Many landscape bangers coming soon. Yew!!
