Kacie and I flew over from Perth and spent the day photographing 2 incredible women at Social Studio Group in Airport West.

💥Queens (& Kings & Teams) I Shot - May Edition! 💥

We started the month off with the beautiful team at doing updated portraits for Caryll & her team. We were on site in South Perth & had a ball.

Then we had the coolest crew at who needed new images for website & socials showing how uber awesome they are - huge team shoot & it was a blast!

My Iconic Shoot day at .bajolaluna was a sell out! We had the glam team & of course doing BTS. The Queens rocked it & Olivia. The day was all about high vibes & Mumm Champas 💁🏻‍♀️🥂

Finishing the month up in Melbourne at the gorgeous studio in Airport West! Shout out to & for being the most delicious clients ever! There were plenty of laughs & “pinch me” moments.

I’m still in Melbourne & honestly I’m obsessed with this place. The energy is electric & I want to come back soooonnnnn

Queens (& Kings & Teams) I Shot - May Edition!

We started the month off with the beautiful team at doing updated portraits for Caryll & her team. We were on site in South Perth & had a ball.

Self sabotage is a sneaky SOB

I’m not immune to the ole thoughts creeping in & today I almost bailed on my own photo shoot!

I didn’t prepare my clothes before my shoot (something I tell my clients to do)

I didn’t do a Pinterest or inspo board. (Again… my team going in blind!)

I didn’t pack my camera bag or props (something I religiously do at least one day before for all my client shoots!)

I didn’t get my hair done, my nails done and don’t get me started on what needs waxing 🙈

But you know what?! I committed. Even if it was a half ass attempt.

I showed up. I hired the right kind of support team so I could get through it.

Today’s shoot was for an exhibition that showcases mental health in photographers & not only did I need to get in front of the lens for a self portrait (that alone is scary AF!) I also needed to “say” something about the struggles photographers go through with our business & how this affects our mental health.

It was big.

I’m not afraid of being vulnerable. Of going deep. Of being real. And I’m also human, a mum, wife, daughter, friend, & wanting my clients to have the best experience ever. Sometimes this means I edit late into the night, or I miss exercise or a birthday or a fun thing.

Anyway today reminded me how fkn hard it can be to get to a photo shoot - and why I love my clients so much.

We’ve been on a massive journey over the last 6 years & I’m so grateful to have you in my life. The shoots, so many shoots, so many Romi’s, so many tears, belly laughs, dances, deep chats, events, podcasts, exhibitions, sunrise sessions, playing the fool over & over.

Another Iconic Shoot Day this week 🥂

We had 4 beautiful humans who graced the camera & experienced the unfiltered chaos of a photo shoot day!

Clarissa on makeup & chamoas to ease everyone into the shoot. Kacie on BTS & lols & me cartwheeling my way around the luxe house with a camera in my hand.

Thank you to Kim, Olivia, Kenslee & Ami - we had a ball 💥

Our next one is 16th June in Mandurah - think office vibes that we can custom style, lots of natural light & gorgeous sheers, and an incredible studio setup complete with different coloured backdrops & the celebrity spotlight 🫶

This is my why.

If you’re new here, welcome. If you’re a long term lurker, thank you. I’ve been through so many identity deaths & rebirths throughout my career from birth photographer, to photography coach, doula, podcast host, speaker, studio owner, educator, the list is long.

In this new identity, I’m a brand authority photographer. I’m so proud of my journey on a business level but more so on my personal journey. There have been so many WTF moments for me to be here.

I want to thank my beautiful friends for helping me make my brand story video, Cass, Clarissa, Claire, Michelle, Gen & Kacie. You guys are my rocks.

I know how much it took me to be in my purpose & I want to shoot out my coaches Erika & Hamish for all the support.

Gratitude to Dee & Nichola for the CNS regulation leading up to this video. It was def a quantum leap into my next level 💪
