The most common thing we hear before a session starts is some version of, 'I don't really know what to do in front of a camera.'
Fair enough. Most people don't get photographed professionally very often.
Here's what actually happens. We talk first, about what the photos are for and how you want to come across. Then it's small adjustments, a shift in angle, a change in expression, more than any dramatic direction. The goal isn't to make you pose, it's to catch you when you're not thinking about the camera anymore.
By the end, most people say the same thing. That it was nowhere near as awkward as they expected.
If nerves have been the thing holding you back from booking, this is what you're actually walking into.
