Taken this morning (7 September) 5.50am - 7.00am in Altona. Large dark cloud band on the horizon to the East and City Skyline. Showed a little pastel colouring pre-dawn. Waited for the sun to eventually rise above the clouds. Windy with the temperature in my timeline a fresh 11c.

Taken this morning (31 August) the last day of winter - 6.00am - 7.25am in Altona. First light gave off some lovely light purple hues. Sunrise was blocked by low cloud looking towards the City Skyline but showed for a brief moment some pastel colouring. The temperature in my timeline was a chilly 7c.

What a sunrise we had this morning, happy I got to see it in real time. Don't mind waking up early to see one's like this. Plenty of wonderful images were submitted today throughout Victoria for this morning's sunrise and I feel quite lucky to have one of my images picked to feature tonight on Channel 10 weather news tonight.

Taken this morning (21 August) 6.20am - 7.20am in Williamstown. Such pretty pastel colouring at first light, with the sky mostly clear. Sunrise gave some lovely golden reflections and rays on the bay. Slightly windy with the temperature in my timeline a chilly 9c.

Heard some lorikeets making some noise this morning and of course I grabbed my camera. I captured the male lorikeet doing his bit to impress the female. Was lucky enough to get on Channel 10 weather news tonight.
