Taken this morning (1 June) 6.35am - 7.40am, the first day of winter in Seaholme. Mother nature didn't disappoint. Brilliant colours at first light, looking towards the City skyline, with the moon shining bright towards the West. Sunrise was definitely golden, with beaut reflections on the Bay. The temperature in my timeline was a cool 8c.

Taken this morning (25 May) 6.30am - 7.22am in Seaholme. Wonderful burst of colour at first light until sunrise, then it eventually faded away. Nice and calm on the Bay. Partly cloudy with the temperature in my timeline a comfortable 13c.

It's been a few weeks since I haven't landed a selection from the weather news. Those early mornings are a struggle, but as soon as I hit the road, I get exited to view the new day and what it will bring as in colours with the rising sun. So I do feel I've won already. Getting picked is just the icing on the cake. So this time it was Channel 7 weather news tonight that showed one of my images from this morning.

My last appearance on Channel 7 weather news occurred in mid-February, and I was delighted to be featured on the weather news tonight. Regardless of the weather conditions, this morning's precipitation, a minor inconvenience with wet shoes was worth it.
