Hin Lim Photography was established by Hin Lim in early 2008 with the goal of providing excellent value and quality photography for interior architects, designers, builders and developers. In addition to providing important photographic documentation of heritage places including buildings and structures, gardens and objects prior to alteration or demolition as required by law or permit conditions
in accordance with Heritage Victoria guidelines. Hin Lim Photography continues to maintain the highest standards that are demanded by best practice in the industry. In addition to being part of the professional photographic community that continually strives to improve the art of photography, I am an accredited member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (AIPP). Our aim is to establish long and mutually beneficial partnerships with our clients to assist them in achieve their goals. Before embarking on a career as architectural photographer, Hin Lim completed his Bachelor of Architecture with honours at Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia in 1999 and worked at renowned architecture firm TR Hamzah & Yeang International in Kuala Lumpur. In 2003 Hin migrated to Australia and joined the well-respected firm of architects & heritage consultants, Lovell Chen in Melbourne. Hin accrued 10 years’ experience as an architect, including 7 years with conservation architects, Lovell Chen. His architectural background, together with many years as a passionate photographer, gives Hin an unparalleled understanding of the subject and a conscientious attention to detail, the qualities necessary to meet your architectural & heritage recording requirements.
