My biggest family in the studio to date!
6 incredible kids with 2 absolute legends for parents.
I was just slightly nervous going in to this session - the unknown of so many kids will do that! But I was completely blown away by how well behaved every single one of these kiddies were! They all listened so well, did everything I asked of them beautifully and we got it all done in an hour from memory. I’m pretty sure they might have had a bit of fun too ☺️
Absolutely loved having this family in the studio.

A little reminder that family photos don’t expire once your babies grow up.
There’s still so much magic in the way teenagers soften, the way they lean in (even if they pretend they’re not), and the way a toddler pulls everyone back into the moment.

This session was so much fun! These two were so fun in front of the camera, we were laughing and joking the entire time....

It’s pretty clear from these images that Harvey is going to be the absolute best big brother to his little sister.
He gave her plenty of toe tickles and squishy cuddles during their session and it was just beautiful to see.
Not to mention he also didn’t want to go home afterwards, but wanted to stay and play with my son’s toys 😂
I wasn’t complaining one bit though! I had myself a new little friend by the end of the shoot and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

You know when your work starts to reflect not just your style, but your heart?
That’s where I feel like I’m landing lately.
It’s not just about pretty pictures or perfect lighting anymore (although I’m still all about that perfect natural light).
It’s about connection. Intention.
The moments you can’t stage or plan, but always end up being your favourites.
This session felt like that. Like the kind of work I’ve always wanted to make - honest, intimate, a little bit magic.
And that’s the sweet spot.
Not just creating images that are beautiful, but creating images that make you feel something.

I won’t lie though… I do think this after every session. I can’t help it!
I get so invested in your story, your family, that by the time you leave the studio (or honestly, sometimes even just after our first few emails 😅), I already feel like we’re friends.
Maybe that’s just me being a little delulu, but honestly I don’t mind.
Whatever season of yours we’re documenting, just know that for the time I’m along for the ride capturing it with you, it means so much to me too.
While I’m holding your story, I’ll treat it like it’s my own.

When I first started newborn photography (7 years ago now…wild!) I used to get nervous when parents wanted to be in the photos too.
I don’t even know why. I was always super confident photographing babies but something about the family side made my overthinking brain go crazy.
But now? I absolutely LOVE family photos. They might even be my favourite part of the whole session.
The way you look at your baby.
The way you look at each other.
It gets me every time.
