I am working on a short film for Uni. The theme - PLACE. Given some of the constraints of the assignment, I chose Whyalla as my place. As I walk through the content, and capture our town like I'm a tourist, I actually don't think any other place could have been a better fit.

I'm trying to show Whyalla through the eyes of those of us who were raised here, and some of the generational families. We know it like the back of their hand, and have some reckless childhood stories. Many of us came here through immigrant families.

I know a lot of my fellow school graduates follow my page, and I'd really love to hear from you.

Past or present, whether you live in Whyalla now, or not, I know that we all share a little bit of brotherhood through our childhoods. All generations, add your stories. 🙏 Please pop a core memory in the comments that I can use as inspo for planning my film. Tag the mates that were there. I need the nostalgia.

Also, if you're class of 2006, I'd like to point out that it's our 20 year reunion! I hope we're all winning at life.
