A place that was once full, is now empty.
The opportunity of working here was so fulfilling. Having the privilege of knowing Olive Ryan and hearing her stories about her life and living here, watching the house go from ruins to a living home for her family that her husband Reginald Ryan restored, I'll forever be grateful for. Learning the history and personal stories from Lawrence (Olive and Reg's son) and his partner Hayley, I'll never forget. I learned so much.
I'm so saddened that I'll never get another chance to step into this beautiful homestead.
Thank you to Olive, Lawrence and Hayley for giving me the best 13 months of my life working here with you!
