Our Team Yarding (Team Penning) Championships are held at the picturesque UMHA arena at Tallangatta Showgrounds, Victoria, (Just across the NSW & VIC border near Albury Wodonga) on March 31st, 1st & 2nd April 2023 offering a prize pool exceeding $25,000!!

This event is sure to see the best teams from across the country showcasing excellent cattle handling and horsemanship skills alike over 3 days of supreme competition.
π€ Program:
Β· Thursday 30th March from 6pm β βMeet & Greetβ over a free sausage sizzle for all competitors with check in and Draw allocation & Bar with Happy Hour
Β· Friday 31st March & Saturday 1st April β All teams will have 3 runs across the 2 days. Draws cannot accommodate teams to have all runs in 1 day so please ensure you can commit to Friday & Saturday for your runs and hopefully Sunday for Grand Final runs.
Β· Saturday Night β 2 Course Meal (bookings & payments essential with entries, guests welcome) Presentations, Calcutta, Raffle and full Bar operating with Happy Hour.
Β· Sunday 2nd April β Top 10 Teams Grand Final followed by Presentations
π§ Important Dates & Entry Info:
Β· Entries - $450 per team - Includes Team entry, camping, insurance, stubby holder & cattle tag. Payment must be sent with entry to be valid.
Β· Entry forms will be available 1st February 2023
Β· Entries Opening 13th February 2023 β Entries only accepted on or after this date and via entry form only with accompanying payment.
Β· Entries Close 28th February 2023.
Β· Top 10 Teams from 2022 β Team Captains, please keep an eye on your emails for an Early Bird Invitation.
π§ Basic UMHA Event Rules: Detailed competition rules will be attached with Entry Forms
Β· Limit 100 Teams
Β· Riders must be 14yo & over
Β· Same 3 riders per team
Β· Each team has 3 runs
Β· A rider may enter 2 teams but must have at least 1 rider change.
Β· Run Time limit 90 seconds
Β· Judged on AGGREGATE score. Highest number of cattle with fastest times for all 3 runs
