“I’m a very shy person and usually feel awkward and uncomfortable having photos taken, but she made me feel so relaxed and comfortable so quickly. The whole experience felt easy and natural. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful and were everything we hoped for and more.”

Honestly this made my whole week.

Quiet. Golden. Fleeting.

This is what maternity sessions feel like. Gentle prompts, movement, a claming environment. Before you know it, you forget I’m capturing photos and you just be in the moment.

This chapter is brief, the bump, the weight of it, the way you rest your hand on it, unintentionally. Before you know it the bump is no more and the next chapter begins.

Third time with this family and they just keep getting better.

That’s the thing about coming back, there is no warm up, no awkward five minutes, no ‘where do we stand.’ We just pick up where we left off and the magic happens almost immediately.

The kids ran. Mum and dad laughed. And somewhere in between the chaos and the cuddles, we captured the most beautiful, real, completely them moments.

This is what I love most about what I do. Not just the images. The relationships. Watching families grow, change, and show up for each other year after year.

Can we talk about that feeling for a sec?

You know the one. You’re scrolling, you see photos like these, and something in your chest just… pulls. And then you close the app and tell yourself it’s too late, or it’s too expensive, or you’ll just do it next time.

Mama, I see you. I’ve been there.

Whether it’s capturing that first time bump, or your little family exactly as it is right now before everything changes, both are worth it. Both are something you will never want to forget.

I wasn’t planning on sharing this just yet.

I was going to hold off until the end of June to open my books for September and October, but so many families have already been enquiring that I thought I better act.

Past clients have had access to my available dates for a few days and those on my mailing list for 48 hours then they are open to all!

September and October is such a beautiful time of year, the air is warming up, the days are longer and barefoot adventures are welcomed.
